Ekiden is a relay race in teams of 6 that covers the distance of a marathon (42.195km). Originating in Japan, Ekiden echoes the old postal system which operated as a relay across the country. It has increased in popularity all over the world in recent years, to become an unprecedented team event, perfect for team building or family activity on the weekend. Each runner has a distance to cover: 5km, 10km, 5km, 10km, 5km, 7.195 km.

The Purpose? To support the actions of MSF [Doctors Without Borders] who provide urgent medical assistance in more than 70 countries all over the world: a united challenge! We set off on this adventure with the promise of raising 1,000 Euros. Since their activities are indispensable, we want to contribute by organising this fundraiser. Join us in this challenge by donating via our fundraising page. Together, we can make a difference. All donations are transferred to Doctors Without Borders via a secure payment method.

Did you know? When you donate to MSF, any donation over 40 Euros will benefit from a 45% tax reduction. This means that a donation of 100 Euros will only cost you 45 Euros.

On behalf of the whole team, a huge thank you for taking part in our united challenge for Doctors Without Borders!

MSF actions around the world

For more than 40 years, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders has provided medical and emergency humanitarian assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care. Independent of all political, military or religious powers, MSF operates in total neutrality and impartiality. MSF never takes sides in a conflict and demands unimpeded access to populations it intends to help.
This independence and freedom of action are above all guaranteed thanks to our private donors. With their support, MSF teams can assist any population in need, without being dependent on funds generated by media coverage of a disaster or institutional funding targeting certain countries to the detriment of others.
