MSF actions around the world

For more than 40 years, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders has provided medical and emergency humanitarian assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care. Independent of all political, military or religious powers, MSF operates in total neutrality and impartiality. MSF never takes sides in a conflict and demands unimpeded access to populations it intends to help.
This independence and freedom of action are above all guaranteed thanks to our private donors. With their support, MSF teams can assist any population in need, without being dependent on funds generated by media coverage of a disaster or institutional funding targeting certain countries to the detriment of others.
